COLUMBUS CAPITAL FOUNDATION

The Columbus Capital Foundation was established in 1994 to support Heritage Fund, the City of Columbus, and Bartholomew County by preserving and maintaining land and buildings of historical or architectural significance to the community.

Heritage Fund is focused on creating a community where people not only reside but are engaged, active participants, and connected to information, resources, opportunities, and people that will make them feel welcome in Columbus.

ENVISION COLUMBUS

Completed in 2018, Envision Columbus provides a flexible framework to guide the next evolution of downtown Columbus and the surrounding neighborhoods.

LANDMARK COLUMBUS

In 2015, Heritage Fund launched the program, Landmark Columbus, to increase the focus on the landmark projects of the Columbus area with the mission of caring for and celebrating its world-renowned design heritage.

WOMEN'S GIVING CIRCLE

In 2010, Heritage Fund began the program the Women's Giving Circle to educate, connect, and inspire women to practice strategic philanthropy in Bartholomew County.

OUTREACH & FUNDING PRIORITIES

Utilizing input from community experts in healthcare, economic development, social services, government, and the arts, Heritage Fund updated its Areas of Impact in 2019 that will drive proactive grant making in the years to come.

RACIAL EQUITY

Heritage Fund has a long history of investing in the growth and well-being of our community. The Board adopted an initiative in August 2020, seeking to help catalyze courageous conversations within our board and eventually with the larger community to recognize and address racial inequities.
